Retro Ornaments Quilt - Using Art Gallery Fabrics Pure Solids
Well, it's been several months (maybe even a year!) since I first shared about this quilt! Sheesh, time flies! Brooke (Ladybelle Fabrics) curated the prettiest Retro Ornaments quilt kit using Art Gallery Fabrics Pure Solids, and I just couldn't resist having one for myself!

The fabrics are:
- Dried Roses
- Plum Preserve
- Field of Lavender
- Crystal Pink
- Blossomed
- Coral Reef
- Smooth Pebble
- Flamingo
- Turmeric (the caps)
- Snow (the background)
My friend Erin Grogan (@lovesewmodern) helped me piece the top, then I sent it to Ladybelle Fabrics for the quilting! It really turned into a "Sisterhood of the Traveling quilt" of sorts. Brooke sent me the fabric, then I "ohh'd" and "ahh'd" over it for a few days, then I sent it off to Erin. Then Erin pieced it and sent it back to me so that I could admire it even more. Then I decided to send it back to Brooke so that she could quilt it on her long-arm. Haha. It was most definitely a group effort!

We decided to use a pantograph called "Scandi Snowflake" for the quilting. I had been eyeing that design for some time now. I felt like with the amount of negative space in this quilt, it'd be a good opportunity to let the quilting shine! Plus the crinkly texture that this panto give the quilt is unreal!

We used Twinkle Stars by Amy Sinibaldi for Art Gallery Fabrics for the backing...the yellow ties in with the ornament caps, which is nice.

While I really love this quilt, we are literally busting at the seams with quilts at our house! I decided to list it for sale (sadly) but I'm hoping it finds a new home someone that will love it just as much as I do!
