Stocking Stuffers for Quilters & Quilt Lovers

Stocking Stuffers for Quilters & Quilt Lovers

The holiday season is sneaking up on us again, and if you’re anything like me, you’re already thinking ahead to those sweet little gifts that make the perfect stocking stuffers. Whether you’re shopping for a quilter, a quilt admirer, or even the quilty pup who supervises your sewing sessions, here are some thoughtful, practical, and delightful goodies to tuck into any stocking or under the Christmas tree!

Before we get started, did you know that this is our fifth year creating this list? Be sure to check out our other blog posts below:

For the Quilter

Flatter Spray

One of my favorite additions to my sewing toolbox this year has been Flatter Spray. I’m usually not one for extra steps when quilting, but this one has truly earned its keep. My blocks come out smoother, flatter (obviously), and with the crispiest seams. It’s like magic in a bottle. I especially love the fig and scentless options!

The Encyclopedia of Pieced Quilt Patterns

If you’ve ever wondered what a quilt block is called—or felt inspired to design your own quilts—this book is the holy grail. The Encyclopedia of Pieced Quilt Patterns is packed with block history, naming conventions, and endless inspiration. It’s the perfect gift for quilters who love learning as much as they love stitching.

Snip & Sip

When I asked our team about their most unique but essential quilting accessory, Dorothy didn’t hesitate: the Snip & Sip. It’s the perfect little travel companion for retreats, workshops, or those days when your sewing station is the dining room table. A place for your drink and your trimmed threads? Seriously? The best idea ever.

Refills & Extras

Rotary blades, needles, and thread always make great stocking stuffers. But if you want to add something more fun, pop in a Lo & Behold Stitchery paper pattern, our new Quilt Care Cards, or a gift card to help them get a head start on their next project.

For the Quilt Lovers

Even if they don’t sew, quilt lovers are easy to shop for—there are so many beautiful quilt-inspired treasures out there! Each year I save every little item I find & can't wait to share them with you in this blog post!

Sarah Hearts Quilt Star Buttons

Our local favorite in Black Mountain, NC, Sarah Hearts, has the sweetest Quilt Star Buttons that add charm to garments, bags, and more.

Gallison “Stitch by Stitch” Puzzle

For fellow puzzle lovers, this quilt-themed puzzle by Victoria Ball is perfection for cozy winter evenings.

Studio Portmanteau Cozy Quilt Matchboxes

Matchboxes are in, and these quilt-themed versions are completely charming. They pair beautifully with a candle or make fun little gifts to share with friends—especially at QuiltCon 2026.

QuiltCon 2026 Tickets

Speaking of QuiltCon… we’ll be vending in Raleigh in February 2026! Grab a couple of tickets and slip them into a stocking—they’re small, memorable, and guaranteed to spark excitement. We’d love to meet you there!

Elana Gabrielle Quilt Bandana

We're loving bandanas lately. They’re cute on Ruby Sue and perfect for wearing as a hair or neck accessory. The Elana Gabrielle Quilt Bandana adds the perfect understated quilty touch to any outfit.

Sydni Carlson Quilt Block Earrings

Earrings are one of my favorite ways to observe someone's personality, and these handmade quilt block earrings are both beautiful and fun—a lovely statement for any quilt lover.

The Built Quilt Washi Tape

Sending or sealing mail with quilty washi tape makes everything more fun. The Built Quilt’s Classic Quilt Block Washi Tape adds the perfect touch to letters, planners, and packages.

For the Quilty Pup

Our four-legged sewing buddies deserve a little stocking joy too! If your pup supervises your sewing sessions (or naps on your quilts...), here are two Ruby Sue approved stocking stuffers:

Benebone Fishbone/Wishbone 2-Pack

Being a puppy, Ruby Sue loves to chew on just about anything! Her current favorite chew toy is the Benebone Fishbone!

Handker Bandanas

Soft, adorable, and perfectly stylish bandanas for our Ruby Sue.  I've heard they even have scrap bags too!

For the Quilty Cook

Last but certainly not least, we need a section for the Quilty Cook—because y’all have made it very clear how much you love our Pete’s Palate segment in the weekly newsletter! When he’s not helping with fabric bundles, Peter is usually in the kitchen testing new recipes. His go-tos? Anything from Half Baked Harvest or Magnolia Table—two of our absolute favorites!

Whether you’re stuffing a stocking for a quilter, a quilt admirer, or the quilty pup who keeps you company, these small gifts are sure to bring joy. Happy gifting—and happy quilting! 🎄✨
